Weekly Zoom Call

Democracy needs defenders, and it starts with you! Sign up to attend the Renew Democracy 250 weekly Zoom community call. Hear from special guests, learn how to take action, and connect with community members.

ROUNDTABLE DISCUSSION:

Please join us in an open forum conversation via Zoom. This will be a safe space to come together, share our voices, and speak openly about the state of our democracy and the challenges facing our government today.

This is not a lecture or presentation, it is a chance for each of us to be heard, seen, and expressed. You’re welcome to share personal stories, anecdotes, concerns, fears, or anything from your heart. Our goal is to hold space for one another to listen and connect through our shared experiences and frustrations.

The strength of democracy is rooted in Americans coming together, and right now, more than ever, our voices matter.

Gain support from your fellow citizens. You are not alone!!

Barbara Lesaint (Babz) is an organizer for Yardley Indivisible in PA01 purple Bucks County and a team leader for the local Bucks County Chapter of Field Team 6 – We Register Democrats.

Babz was born into a Democratic family. Her grandparents were Union Democrats. She joined Yardley Indivisible after the 2025 inauguration hoping to make a positive difference. She is a retired professional designer – not a paid protester. She lived & worked in Hong Kong from 2006-2011 after the British handover to the Chinese government and experienced first hand living under authoritarian rule.

Babz is fairly new to activism and does not claim to be deeply knowledgeable on the subject, but is committed to doing what she can locally. She is a fast learner, shares how to get involved and the importance of talking to people about politics.
